Meet Troy Hutinger

Dr. Hutinger grew up in Sedalia, Missouri. He completed his undergraduate degree at Mizzou before attending dental school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. Dr. Hutinger was hand-selected by faculty to participate in the Honors Oral Surgery Program and graduated with honors in 2013. Following dental school, Dr. Hutinger completed a multi-disciplinary hospital residency at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City. Through the residency, he gained extensive experience in advanced surgical and restorative techniques in, oral surgery, dental implants, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatrics.

Dr. Hutinger is active in the dental community and is committed to staying current on the latest advancements in dentistry. He is an avid participant in continuing dental education and an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the Missouri Dental Association. Dr. Hutinger strives to provide the most advanced dental care to patients of all ages in a gentle and compassionate manner.

Dr. Johnson has also studied under one of the nation’s most respected cosmetic dentists, Dr. Rhys Spoor of Seattle, Washington. He has completed the hands-on clinical training for creating perfect smiles utilizing the latest in materials and technology.

Prior to joining Dr. Lawson, Dr. Hutinger spent the last three and a half years providing dental care in the communities of Jefferson City and California, MO. During this time, he performed full mouth rehabilitation to children, and individuals with developmental disabilities in the hospital setting. Outside of the profession, Dr. Hutinger is an avid fan of Mizzou sports, Kansas City Chiefs, and St. Louis Cardinals. He also enjoys playing golf, spending time at the lake and riding his bike. He and his wife Krissy “Koehly”, originally from Moberly, are extremely excited to have settled back home in Mid-Missouri and look forward to becoming involved in the community.
